My areas: I specialise in training and coaching skills of influential communication-selling, negotiating, speaking and presenting and networking- for Associations and the marketing, design and creative community. Depending on the situation, this can involve training or coaching or a combination of the two:

  • Training: to equip you with the skills to turn your plan into action.
  • Coaching: to clear the path. To get clear about your communication goals, what stands in your way and the best way around it for you.

I work with you to establish a clear brief and then tailor what I offer to suit your situation, be it training, coaching or a mix of the two.

My background: I have 25+ years experience working in the Business to Business arena. Prior to setting up my training and coaching practice I worked with leaders of design and branding agencies as Membership Director of the Design Business Association. In 2014 my work was shortlisted for Best Growth Strategy at Association Congress Awards for my growth strategy called Creating Conversations that Sell. Prior to this, I worked in sales and then as a Publisher in commercial publishing.

I’m a trained coach, with a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential from the ICF (International Coaching Federation). I trained with Coaching Development, and passed their Coaching Diploma as part of achieving my credential. I work to the ICF’s set of coaching competencies and code of ethics and conduct.

I am a trainer and coach for The Institute of Data & Marketing where I run their Presentation Skills workshop. I am also the retained coach for the Association of Association Executives
